Our A&O business unit is currently testing a tracking system that allows us to automatically track project cargo shipments at any time. The transport of a chemical dosage system from the Netherlands to Shanghai has already been successfully tracked in this way.
”The trackers have a size of 10×5 cm and can therefore be used to accompany any type of goods,” explains Head of PAO Carsten Sommer. “We are therefore also able to monitor conventional (i.e. non containerized) shipments, from the point of departure to the point of receipt, and can offer our customers immense added value with the transmission of the pertinent data – including not only the position, but also information such as temperature, humidity, light exposure & vibration, if necessary.”
