As part of the search for new employees, we collect and process the personal data provided directly by candidates by sending their curricula or completing forms. Data are necessary for the establishment of a direct contact with the concerned party in view of a possible recruitment. In the future, we may also have additional personal data available, including of a sensitive nature, as necessary for the management of an employment relationship.
Your personal data will be processed in compliance with the regulations in force in the European Union, and, in particular, EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
We provide the following basic information regarding data processing.
Data Controller: the Data Controller is Gruber Logistics S.p.A., with registered office on via Nazionale, 75 – 39040 Ora (Bolzano), Italy (privacy@gruber-logistics.com).
DPO: on the company website, at https://www.eng.gruber-logistics.com/privacy, you will be able to find updated information (including contact information) on the Data Protection Officer (DPO). The DPO can also be contacted at the following e-mail address: dpo@gruber-logistics.com.
Purpose: Your personal data will be processed exclusively for the following purposes:
- verifying the requirements for a possible hiring;
- establishing a direct contact with the concerned party;
- preparation of the documents needed for the employment contract;
- fulfillment of legal or contractual obligations towards social security, welfare and insurance institutions or, in general, towards the Public Administration.
Recipients: Your data will be accessible only to persons who, within the Company structure, are responsible for managing the activities related to the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes. Outside the Company, data can be transmitted to suppliers of goods, services and works, or to public bodies. The sole purpose of this transfer will remain to pursue the purposes indicated above. In case of transfer beyond the borders of the European Union, the safeguards provided by current European legislation will be guaranteed through contracts based on standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission. A copy of the transmitted data can be requested from the Data Controller.
Retention period: Personal data will be kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. In the event of a negative outcome of the hiring negotiations or if hiring cannot be concluded for any reason whatsoever, data will be kept for 24 months from the date of their acquisition and subsequently deleted.
Rights: The concerned party will have at any time the possibility to access his/her personal data and request their rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or extraction in portable format. A detailed description of the concerned parties’ rights can be found on the Company’s website at https://www.eng.gruber-logistics.com/privacy. Rights can also be exercised by sending an email to privacy@gruber-logistics.com or using other methods offered on the company website.
Complaints: For any improper or illegal treatment of personal data concerning him/her, or for any violation of his/her rights, the concerned party can submit a complaint to the Supervisory Authority established by the Republic of Italy (“Supervisory Authority”), or, alternatively, to the Supervisory Authority of the EU country in which the Company is operating.
Options: The communication of data by you is in no way mandatory, but is necessary for the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes. Therefore, your possible refusal to communicate the necessary data will make it impossible to continue towards a possible hiring.
